It was Albrecht F. Rosenauer who founded Estede in 1991 as an eyewear company focusing on true luxury products, that reached beyond the mass and fashion markets. He had already gained rich experience in the eyewear sector during his years as Board Member for Carrera-Optyl, one of the most important eyewear companies at the time. Rosenauer masterminded several successful concepts such as Porsche-Design, Alfred Dunhill and Carrera ranges, before he decided to adopt a unique approach to luxury eyewear. From its inception, Estede has always looked to create handcrafted eyewear, combining time-honed craft skills with precious materials. Over the years, Estede has achieved global acclaim for launching solid gold eyewear for several luxury brands such as S.T. Dupont and Chopard.
In 2008, Albrecht Rosenauer’s son, Christoph, took over the business and has overseen the collaboration between Estede and Bentley Motors. As Bentley Eyewear continues to gain vigorous momentum worldwide, it’s clear to see why the partnership is so successful: both companies share a passion for quality and perfection, and look to incorporate the latest technology into hand-crafted luxury pieces. And ultimately only Estede and Bentley can offer their Customers a dream born from the bespoke – exquisitely unique to each individual.
